School of Musicals

Our Musical School is one of this year’s programme highlights—a lively, collaborative space where children aged 8 to 12 explore the world of musical theatre through weekly sessions combining singing, drama, and movement. Over the course of the year, participants work together to create and perform a musical production, drawing inspiration from the rich traditions of West End musical theatre.

The experience builds confidence and strong communication skills, encourages creativity through music and storytelling, and provides a safe and supportive environment for self-expression. Children learn to listen, collaborate, and take responsibility as they develop not only their performance abilities but also a sense of community and shared achievement. The final performance is a celebration of the journey—an opportunity to shine on stage and take pride in what they’ve created together.

DoReWe is an established musical and performing arts school active across several schools and community settings in the Ljubljana region, including Kamnik, Radomlje, Domžale, and the capital. Known for its engaging and accessible approach to music education, DoReWe offers programmes in singing, instruments, and musical theatre for children of all ages and experience levels.

Their musical theatre classes bring together experienced educators and enthusiastic performers who guide children through the full creative process—from rehearsals to live performance. With a curriculum grounded in internationally recognised musical theatre methods, the school nurtures each child’s artistic voice while fostering teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Pricing & Registration

Registrations are on a first-come first-served basis. Lessons are double sessions - leading to 90 minutes of instruction per week. The fee is €65.00/month. (In case of lower than expected subscriptions, price may change).
