Description

In our LEGO® Education Robotics workshops, children take their first steps into the world of programming and engineering in a playful, engaging, and hands-on way. Through building and coding real working models, they develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and a strong foundation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Using special LEGO® elements such as sensors, smart bricks, gears, belts, pulleys, and other mechanical components, children explore how machines work—and why they sometimes don’t! They use tablets or computers with icon-based programming environments to bring their creations to life.

The course is designed with age-appropriate activities that progress from simple to more complex challenges. This gradual structure supports logical thinking, resilience, and teamwork. As children experiment with their own solutions, they build both confidence and perseverance.

Each session is filled with discovery and excitement, helping children learn by doing: investigating how components move, swing, or interact, and devising creative improvements when things go wrong.

The introductory robotics programme is specially designed for the first five years of primary school and features the use of:

  • LEGO® Education SPIKE Essentials

  • WeDo 2.0

  • StoryStarter

  • Enriched with BricQ Motion sets for physical science exploration.

Through interactive projects and themed challenges, children develop early skills in:

  • Programming and computational thinking

  • Mechanical reasoning and design

  • Communication and collaboration

  • Basic physics and maths concepts

This course provides a joyful entry into the world of robotics, sparking curiosity and a love of learning through play.

Zavod 1‑2‑3 is an experienced educational provider specialising in hands-on STEM learning through LEGO® Education programmes. With years of practice delivering workshops, camps, and technical days across Slovenia, the organisation has worked with thousands of children, schools, kindergartens, and families. Their team combines pedagogical expertise with creative play, offering structured activities that develop programming, engineering, and problem-solving skills. Pricing & Registration

Registration is accepted on a first come first serve basis. Cost of the workshop is €36.36 monthly, irrespective of number of sessions provided. The provider will invoice parents directly for monthly fees.
